Objectives

The goal of IASA is to advance knowledge of the origins and manifestations of antisemitism throughout the world. The Association recognizes the aspirations of scholars in all parts of the world and in all academic disciplines, and will work to support and strengthen the free development of scholarly inquiry in cooperation with similar associations of intellectuals. To achieve these ends, the Association will support activities to:

  • secure and develop institutional and personal contacts between scholars and intellectuals throughout the world;
  • encourage the international dissemination and exchange of information on developments in knowledge related to antisemitism and the study of antisemitism at both the empirical and conceptual levels;
  • facilitate and promote international research and training;
  • convene meetings and regularly scheduled world congresses and conferences;
  • promote publications which support the Association’s research and other activities.
